Cure & Seal WB is a water-based, non-yellowing, VOC-compliant acrylic polymer developed to cure, seal, harden, and dustproof freshly placed concrete, or enhance the durability of existing concrete surfaces. This product is eligible for LEED credits, presenting an environmentally friendly option for concrete treatment.
- Ideal for both interior and exterior applications.
- Produces a tough, glossy film resistant to abrasion and common stains.
- Prevents adhesion of cementitious droppings and penetration of oils and greases.
- Significantly reduces maintenance and clean-up costs.
- Enhances floor brightness and ease of maintenance.
- Allows for recoating without stripping previous applications.
- Improves resistance to de-icing salts.
Application
- Do not dilute; ready to use.
- Apply with a sprayer, brush, roller, or lambswool applicator for optimal results.
- Recommended application temperatures are above 40 F & rising.
Concrete Conditions:
- New Concrete: Apply once surface water has evaporated, with a second coat for enhanced finish and protection.
- Existing Concrete: Ensure surfaces are clean and free of stains, oils, and incompatible coatings before application.
Packaging
Available in 275-gallon totes, 55-gallon drums, and 5-gallon pails.
Shelf Life
Two-year shelf life in original, sealed containers.
Coverage
- Curing: 200 sq ft/gal
- Dustproofing and Sealing: 200-400 sq ft/gal for both new and aged concrete, with adjustments based on surface porosity and conditions.
Standards
- Meets ASTM C-309, Type I, Class A and B standards, and the VOC requirements of SCAQMD, with actual VOC at 98 g/L.
- USDA accepted and meets Class A UV stability/yellowing requirements per ASTM C 1315 section 6.4.1.
