Pave Cure WW-300 forms a continuous membrane that controls curing for strong and durable concrete. The white pigment reflects the sun s rays to help keep the concrete surface cooler and to prevent excessive heat buildup C ideal for application on exterior, horizontal surfaces such as highways, airports, streets, and curb paving applications when proper curing is required.
Features & Benefits
Easy to spray
VOC-compliant
High reflectivity, high moisture retention
Improves durability; proper curing will increase the long life of concrete
Reduces shrinkage; retains moisture to reduce plastic shrinkage cracks
Enhances performance; increases compressive strength and wear resistance
Meets VOC emission requirements for curing and sealing compounds (EPA limit < 350g/L)
Meets maximum VOC content limits of 350 g/L for Concrete Curing Compounds as required by the U.S. EPA Architectural Coatings Rule
Application
- Surface Preparation: Apply once the surface water has evaporated and the concrete surface can withstand foot traffic without being damaged.
- Application Method: Use a manual sprayer, power sprayer, or paving train to apply uniformly at a coverage rate of 200 sq ft per gallon. Ensure no puddling occurs.
- Curing Time: Fast drying; the surface is ready for further use in less than 4 hours under appropriate conditions.
Packaging
- Available in 275-gallon totes, 55-gallon drums, and 5-gallon pails.
Shelf Life
- Store in original tightly closed containers in a cool, dry place to prevent contamination. Avoid excessive heat and freezing. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.
Standards
- ASTM Standards: Meets ASTM C309, Type II, Class A and AASHTO M148, Type II, Class A. Also meets Army Corps of Engineers CRD C300 specifications.
- Moisture Loss: Demonstrates superior moisture retention with a loss rate of 0.28 kg/m2 after 7 days, well below the maximum allowable.
Cleaning
- Immediately clean tools and equipment with water after use. For more persistent residues, use SpecChem Solvent 100 or another suitable cleaning solvent.
